Blink your eyes and yes, it is May again! Along with blooming flowers and (finally!) more sunshine, it is graduation time! Our Ohio genetic counseling students will soon be our newest colleagues. Please join OAGC in celebrating our 2022 Ohio genetic counseling graduates!
Case Western Reserve University
Case Western Reserve University has 8 students in the class of 2022, and 6 are graduating in May. Two students are completing a dual degree in genetic counseling and bioethics, and will graduate in December 2022. Our May 2022 graduates are moving on to clinical genetic counseling positions in their preferred specialties, including prenatal genetics, pediatric genetics, cancer genetics, and cardiovascular genetics. Some will remain in Ohio, while others will be moving to other states, including Delaware, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. We are proud of and excited for our class of 2022, and cannot wait to see what they do next!
University of Cincinnati
The University of Cincinnati has 12 graduates in the class of 2022. After graduation, the students will be living and working in Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, and Washington.
The Ohio State University
The OSU GCGP has 11 students in the class of 2022. Four of our graduates will remain in Ohio after graduation and seven will be moving to other states, including Texas, Maryland, Pennsylvania, California, Illinois, and North Carolina. Four graduates will be pursuing careers in adult cancer, one in prenatal, and two in combined prenatal and cancer. Additionally, one student will be working in adult neurology, one will be working in adult cardiology, one will be in a clinical laboratory position, and one will be working in product development.
